Sununu Signs NH Cannabis Decriminalization Bill

As reported by New Hampshire Public Radio, "New Hampshire is now the 22nd state (and the last in New England) to decriminalize possession of small amounts of cannabis."

Like the West Coast states of Washington, Oregon, and California, the New England states now form a solid block of rationality against the absurdity of criminalized cannabis and its inclusion on Schedule I of the DEA Controlled Substances List.

“The governor deserves credit for his steadfast support of this commonsense reform,” said Matt Simon, political director for the Marijuana Policy Project.

“Unlike his predecessors, who opposed similar proposals, Gov. Sununu appears to understand that ‘Live Free or Die’ is more than just a motto on a license plate.”
