Bey-Hives and Cannabi

Helping push up a story from Ebony Magazine: “Beyoncé Announces Her Love of CBD and Plans to Build a Cannabis Farm

When Beyonce speaks, people listen, so hear this: “I discovered CBD on my last tour, and I’ve experienced its benefits for soreness and inflammation,” she said in an interview.

“It helped with my restless nights and the agitation that comes from not being able to fall asleep.”

The relief from the non-psychoactive cannabis-cousin helped Queen Bey to learn about its healing properties, but also inspired her to create.

Not music (this time)...

She’s building a hemp farm to obtain her own CBD.

It will include a honey farm to aid in the well-being of herself and her children. “I’ve even got hives on [top of] my roof!” she added in a chat.

Of course, this is not her first foray into the industry: “Last year, her BeyGood Foundation partnered up with the NAACP to give to the Maryland-based cannabis company The Gift a grant for $10,000 intended to support Black-owned businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.”

And her husband, Jay-Z knows a bit about cannabis. He’s the “Chief Visionary Officer” of The Parent Company, which is a partnership between Caliva, Left Coast Ventures, Subversive Capital Acquisition Corp., and Roc Nation.

Seems that cannabis a family affair after all.
